Improvement at company never ends, there always will be goals and each one will demand the implementation of more and better practises. To maintain that continuous improvement it is necessary to advance in institution's own maturity, which means know and control resources, behaviours, problems and ways to act.

The biggest part of quality obtaining resides on processes, that is why quality norms tends to fix patterns for practises that make inside company.

There are several methods and tools for decrease errors, claims and negative impact. Much of them come from probed philosophies like Demming points or Lean Six Sigma. Generally at Decumano we procure to make a gradual implementation of best practises, according urgent levels that company has, in order to achieve continuity and control without loss benefit.

Among methods that we apply at Decumano for quality implementation, are:

  • Functional Analysis Systematic Technique (F.A.S.T.): The most efficient map for communicate the set of strategies with situation.
  • Failure Modal Effects Analysis (A.M.F.E.): Exhaustive method that translate different experts vision into controllable numbers, hierarchical ordered, that allows to take fast decisions
  • Graphic of functional control, steps and transitions: Where are described and evaluated automated systems inside industrial plant
  • Pareto diagram and other statistic tools: Where minorities and majorities are identified with their respective importances, problems are prioritized and causes are deducted, allowing to take decisions solidly justified.
